کاهش مییابد که اثبات این فرضیه احتیاج به
مطالعه دقیقتری دارد. قرص گاباپنتین یکی از داروهای پرمصرف در حملات صرع
است که برای کنترل تشنج های جزئی استفاده می شود.
داروی گاباپنتین با کاهش جریان الکتریکی سلولهای مغزی مانع ایجاد حملات صرع می شود.
دردهایی که معمولا بیماری‌هایی مانند
زونا و دیابت باعث آنها می‌شوند.
